I am running in the municipal elections in Kaskinen because I want to help build a strong, independent, and developing Kaskinen.

We should not just follow the decisions of others but stay ahead and make wise choices that strengthen our economy, services, and community.

For an Independent Kaskinen

I am working to ensure that Kaskinen remains independent.

This will not happen by itself – we need growth, jobs, and well-planned financial management. A well-managed economy does not mean saving to the point of deterioration but using money wisely so that it benefits us both now and in the future. We must invest in long-term solutions that create vitality and secure Kaskinen’s independence.

Elderly Residents and the Welfare Reform

The welfare reform has introduced negative state contributions, and even though the welfare region takes a lot from us, we can still make Kaskinen a better place for our elderly residents.

Kaskinen must pay €86,299 per month – a total of approximately €1,035,542 per year – in so-called negative state contributions. This means a significant sum disappears from the municipality, despite our continued responsibility for the well-being and services of our residents.

Even though healthcare is now mainly managed by the welfare region, it is our duty to ensure that Kaskinen’s residents receive the services they need, when they need them. This could mean developing local services so that healthcare and support are easily accessible, as well as promoting home care, allowing elderly residents to live safely and independently for as long as possible.

At the same time, we must be an attractive place for various service providers, ensuring a broad range of high-quality services for elderly residents and their families in Kaskinen. The municipality can support this by cooperating with businesses and organizations and providing facilities and resources for new services.

My Main Goals

Jobs and Entrepreneurship – Kaskinen needs investments and businesses that create jobs and strengthen the municipality’s economy. We have an excellent location and high-quality data connections – we must use these strengths to make Kaskinen an attractive place to live and run a business.

High-Quality Education and Well-Being – Every child has the right to good education and a safe learning environment. By investing in school meals, youth support, and special education, we create a stable foundation for the future.

Responsible Economy – No Unnecessary Cuts, but Smart Investments – The economy must be sustainable, but that does not mean weakening services or neglecting the development of our city. Every euro should be used to benefit both the present and the future.

A Safe and Pleasant Kaskinen for All Ages – I want Kaskinen to remain a peaceful and close-knit city where people enjoy living and where services function efficiently. This includes ensuring that elderly residents receive the support and services they need and have the opportunity to be an active part of the community.

Sustainable Development and Future-Oriented Solutions – Kaskinen is a beautiful coastal town, and its environment is valuable to us. I want to promote smart solutions where economic growth and environmental protection go hand in hand.

I will also keep track of my ideas and the feedback I receive, so we can follow the progress together. Decision-making should be transparent, and residents' voices should be heard throughout the entire term – not just before the elections.

I am not waiting for others to make decisions for us – I am working to ensure that Kaskinen remains independent, vibrant, and forward-looking. I want young people and families to enjoy living here, and I want our elderly residents to have a good and secure everyday life in Kaskinen.

If you want Kaskinen’s decision-making to be characterized by courage, responsibility, and a vision for the future, give me your support in the municipal elections!
