Today I was asked a question that many people are probably wondering about: "Why on earth did you enter politics in a city that is in economic distress? Are you crazy?"

I understand the question well. It is easy to think that in difficult times, it is best to just wait and see how things unfold. But I see it differently. Right now is the best time to participate and try to make a change. If we manage to turn the situation around for the better, it will be an achievement of immeasurable value. And that is the story I want to tell: I was involved in raising Kaskinen to new heights.

Kaskinen is a unique city with enormous potential. We have a fantastic location, a strong community, and opportunities that have not yet been fully utilized. Economic challenges are not a reason to give up but rather the very reason why bold actions and new ideas are needed.

I believe that in difficult times, people are needed who are willing to work for a better future. If everyone waits, nothing will change. That is why I will not wait. I want to be part of building a better, more stable, and more vibrant Kaskinen.

So if you ask me if I'm crazy? Maybe a little! 😆 But above all, I am committed. And that is exactly what the future of this city needs.
